Q: So, what kind of writer are you?
A: I write poetry, YA & Adult fantasy, and contemporary Women’s Fiction.
Q: That’s varied! Is there a connecting style to your work?
A: I’d say my voice stands out no matter the genre, and my writing leans lyrical, emotionally-charged, and descriptive. Readers tend to cross genres if they like my work.
Q: Are your books traditionally published or self-published?
A: Both! My first book, Ditch Flowers, is published with a small traditional publisher. I went on to publish independently for my next several short stories, and books. I’m what’s known as a hybrid author. In future, I hope to secure a literary agent and publish with one of the big 5 publishers.
Q: Where can I buy your books and stories?
A: All of my books and short stories can be purchased on Amazon in paperback, e-book, or both. Some of my work is also available on Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, and other outlets. Please head to my “Books & More” tab to learn more.
Q: Do you read a lot? What are your favorite books?
A: I love reading as much as I can, and I think it strengthens my writing. My favorite books can be found under the “For Readers” tab (under construction), where I share recommendations. I also regularly post book reviews on Goodreads.
Q: I’m a writer. Do you have any advice for me?
A: Definitely. Please find all my writing/publishing blog posts and tips under “For Writers” (under construction)
